[Korea Busan Restaurant Review] Pho Pho Pho — A Hidden Gem for Vietnamese Noodles Near Pusan National University

🌿 Pho Pho Pho – Authentic Vietnamese Noodles Near Pusan National University

Hello everyone!
Today, I’m sharing my review of a local gem near Pusan National University — a cozy Vietnamese noodle spot called Pho Pho Pho.

📍 Address: 264 Geumgang-ro, Geumjeong-gu, Busan
Hours: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

The moment you walk in, it really feels like you’ve stepped right into Vietnam.
The staff are all Vietnamese, and even the utensils and the metal trays give off that authentic street-food vibe.

A lot of people were dining alone, too — definitely a good sign for a casual, comforting place like this.

Oh, and a little warning — the Vietnamese chili here is no joke! 🌶️
I tried one on an empty stomach and almost set myself on fire. Lesson learned. 😂

🍜 What We Ordered

We tried three dishes:

  • Regular Pho

  • Spicy Pho

  • Beef Banh Mi

All three were honestly great — not a single miss!
Busan National University students are so lucky to have this place nearby (and yes, I envy their youth too 😆).

I loved that they served fresh bean sprouts on the side — just like in Vietnam.
Personally, I prefer when the sprouts are already cooked in the broth, though.
Also, they gave a pretty small portion of sprouts… which was a bit sad for a sprout-lover like me. (But don’t worry — you can ask for a refill!)

🥩 Rare Beef & Brisket Pho — 9,900 KRW

This one was classic pho flavor — simple and comforting.
If I compare it with Nam Thai Noodles, I still think Nam Thai wins slightly in flavor,
but when it comes to value for money, Pho Pho Pho gives strong competition!

🔥 Spicy Beef Tripe Pho — 12,500 KRW

This was loaded with beef tripe — seriously generous portions!
It even had a bit of that Korean-style spicy hot pot vibe.

The tripe was super clean and tender, and every bite had that rich, deep flavor.
I tossed some extra sprouts on top, and it was perfect. (Yes, you can refill them — lifesaver! 😆)

🥖 Beef Banh Mi — 8,900 KRW

I’m usually not a big banh mi person,
but the beef banh mi here completely changed my mind!
It was packed to the brim with juicy, flavorful meat — take a look at that filling!

If you’re near Busan National University and craving some comforting, affordable Vietnamese food,
Pho Pho Pho is a must-visit.
Great flavors, friendly atmosphere, and that authentic Hanoi street-side feel — what more could you want?
